During our discussion at the booster meeting, we voiced our frustration with making a budget, and being unsure of how our school/district is able to financially support us. For example, Enochs has been able to cover some of our transportation costs in previous years, but that is no guarantee that any of our bussing costs will be covered this year. For marching season alone, that costs around $250 per student.We decided that we would have a couple parent and student speakers discuss the importance of supporting our music programs at the Board Meeting on September 11th. The rest of us will support by providing written statements to the board and being in attendance that evening. We want this to be a positive message at the meeting. Keep watching these weekly emails for details. If you or your child want to speak, email Gina at [email protected]. In the meantime, mark your calendars for 9/11 at 6:00 P.M.
